About the Project
The REC, under its CSR activities has sanctioned financial contribution of 1.01 crore for installation of 200 RO water treatment plant with 500-liter overhead storage tank and 1 HP Electrical Pump at 200 Anganwadi Centres/Primary Schools in Purnea district of Bihar to implementing agency Society for Advancement of Villagers Empowerment and Rehabilitation of All (SAVERA).

To improve access to safe drinking water for children
To focus or raising awareness and changing behavior around WASH (water, sanitation and Hygiene) related issue among children
To facilitate capacity building of staff of Anganwadi Kendra/ Primary schools
